“Blubbering Fits”
Moved in with my fiancé when I was 19. He started banging his head against the wall at night and having weird blubbering fits. Then he slit his throat in the bathroom. While in the psych ward (where I visited faithfully and allowed him to blame me for his crazy), he cheated on me and then wanted to date us both at the same time!

Aftermath: I did go on a few dates with them—and then found my self-esteem. He is now heavily medicated and still single.

It was good of you to visit him, but it’s still ironic that you’re as upset that he cheated on you as that he was psychotic. “My boyfriend was clinically insane and suicidal AND he cheated on me!” Kinda funny.
