“Red flag”
She told me she was in a psychiatric hospital for attempting suicide. I did my best to get past it but she eventually went psycho on me, accusing me of rape when it obviously wasn’t true.

Aftermath: I dumped her and she sent me a message a few days later saying she had slit her wrists. Unsuccessfully, I might add.
“Brother Knows Best”
I am a single mother of 3 young children. My brother said he had a friend that knew I had kids, but it didn’t bother him and wanted to take me out on a date. I went out with the guy 2 times. Then, about a week later, I was at work at an elementary school and I was flipping through pictures of local registered sex-offenders. On page three, there was my date in all his crowning glory.

Aftermath: I never saw the guy again, and I confronted my brother about setting me up with a child molester. He said he knew about it but didn’t think it was that big of a deal!
“Next victim”
I met him at work and we went on a couple of innocent dates. He told me that he had a little boy and that he had lost his wife to a an illness. After only a couple of weeks he was calling me non-stop, being really clingy and said that his mom had bought me a present (I had never met her). I ended it, but had a really hard time getting rid of him.

Aftermath: Ten or so years later I run into this prosecuting attorney that I knew and found out that his wife’s family had her body exhumed, and he was charged for murder. He got a life sentence.
“Bipolar love story.”
The day before Holy Saturday (Catholic boy here), we got into some heavy groping and nearly had sex at the place she was interning at. She called me on Tuesday and flipped out on me. She was diagnosed as bipolar and told me she didn’t like to take her medicine.

Aftermath: She stalked me over the internet and begged me to get back together with her two years after this happened. No thanks. I know women are psycho at times, but she was beyond the acceptable levels
