Did he use it correctly? It’s the contraction for “am not”, so as long as he said “I ain’t” he was grammatically correct.
My current girlfriend is the queen of malapropisms, maybe I should cite your post as precedence?
That’s almost as bad as saying “um” every fifth word like so many people do.
