Aftermath: He spent a couple days trying to convince me that he wasn’t really married, that he had never lied to me. But for me, that was it. We’re still friends though, distantly.

Took me a while but I eventually decided that they hung out in a chatroom and someone made a flirty comment about him. Then the comment about “just kidding, we are both married” came about.
