I had something like this happen. I texted a serious text to my boyfriend telling him I was in the hospital. I texted a playful text to my ex boyfriend who I was still friends with that he should save me from the bad smell of the hospital. He called me panicking asking if I was okay. My boyfriend called me five hours later and when I told him what happened, he said “oh, okay. So about my problems..”
