I realized that she had only one setting: sarcastic. No seriousness, no deeper emotions, no ability to hold a decent conversation. Every response from her was some sort of joke, but it got to be too much.

Aftermath: I put up with it for about a month. I love a little sarcasm, but there is a point where it goes from a funny little quirk to downright annoying. I realized this relationship would never get past its first stages and broke it off. Haven’t seen her since.
