It was over when he flipped out that I was traveling abroad to build homes with Habitat for Humanity. He told me the trip “stressed him out” and he didn’t have time to worry about me.

Aftermath: I went on the trip anyway, had an amazing time and dumped him two days after returning. He’s still a self-centered douche.

I’m not a very charitable person, but i think you are awesome for participating in Habitat for Humanity. It’s the one charity i support verbally, and financially whenever I can.
